The Patients Participation Group is a group of patients from the Practice who meet regularly and are here to represent your interests. We work closely with the Practice staff to resolve issues raised by patients and to enhance the services offered wherever possible. The Forum can also be referred to as a Patient reference Group or Patient Participation Group; these are terms used by other surgeries as well.
We welcome your suggestions and feedback (positive or negative). If there is anything you would like us to look into on your behalf please let us know - the suggestion box is opened regularly and we can be contacted by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Forum holds meetings at the Practice from 7 - 8.30pm on a bi-monthly basis but you do not have to attend these meetings to be a member or support the group. You may prefer to receive information by post or Email but any contribution you feel you can make will be appreciated. If you would like to know more about the Forum or are interested in joining please contact Ed Hillan, Practice Manager.
Please note that the Forum is NOT the right place to air an individual grievance or personal medical issue - these matters should be referred to Ed Hillan or discussed with your GP.
If you want to be part of the group we have three sign up options available for our Patient' Forum. Please click on the relevant option to sign up.
If you apply to join the forum your contact details only (name, phone number & email or postal address) will be shared with the Chair of the forum and those members who manage the Forum email account. No clinical information will be shared with them. If you would like to know more about how we use your information, please visit the personal data section of our website.
